Fox Launch Knee/Shin Pads

The Launch pads from Fox are high-tech leg armor for mountain bikers that protect you like no other. With Fox's X-Up strapping system, the knee cap locks onto both sides of your knee to prevent twisting and slipping. The ribbed hard-shell plates are asymmetrical for comfort and provide superior impact protection. Plus, they're even vented to breathe well, so you can wear them on every ride.

      The best thing (IMO) is strap system/setup. Once you got them set to your liking its literally a *snap* to put them on and take them off. They never slip or bind behind the knee. They're thin enough to wear under DH pants, doesn't hinder motion and they protect really well! I've had the same pair since 2008 and they've seen all sorts of riding (including multiple trips to Bootleg Canyon); I even have used them on some XC rides. Washing them is easy - they clean up easy - I either spray them down and let them air dry or just toss them in the washer and then let them air dry.

      Of all the leg armour I've owned over the 10+ years this has to be the best I've owned! It only takes minutes to get the straps adjusted. Once you got them adjusted it takes less than a minute to get strapped up! I've used my pair for over a year and I've used it from DH/FR/AM and even XC riding. They've never slipped or chafed while pedaling or walking. The breath well and most importantly they protect!
